Among lots of Penza architectural monuments, the Narovchat Holy Trinity-Skanov Convent is the most beautiful one. Being located in the ancient town Narovchat in the north-west of the Penza region, the Holy Trinity-Skanov Convent was founded in the 17th century as an orthodox outpost on pagan lands. The today’s convent exterior has been forming for centuries. More modern, beautiful and perfect buildings appeared in place of destroyed ones.
