Penza Oblast Delegation at XVII Inturmarket International Tourism Exhibition in Moscow
The Penza Oblast takes part in the XVII Inturmarket International Tourist Exhibition, which takes place in Moscow, at the Expocentre exhibition complex from March 12 to 14.
The event brings together more than 800 specialists from 70 Russian regions and 15 foreign countries. At the exhibition our region is represented by Sergey Bychkov, the Penza Oblast Minister of Culture and Tourism, Ildar Mavlyudov, Deputy Minister, the tourist information centre staff and regional tour operators.
During the event our delegation will present the "Visit the Penza Oblast" multimedia VR project that demonstrates the region's most famous places. It is also planned to sign an agreement on cooperation between the Penza Oblast and the Ulyanovsk Oblast Agency for Tourism.
The Inturmarket exhibition annually opens the spring-summer tourist season and is held with the official support of the RF Government, the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), as well as Russian tourist associations and professional institutes. Sangaji Tarbayev, Chairman of the Committee on Tourism and Tourism Infrastructure Development of the State Duma, also attended the official opening.
