XXXVII Kuprin Literary Festival to be Held Online

The 37th Kuprin Literary Festival will be held online on September 4, 2021. The format is defined in accordance with the restrictions adopted to prevent the spread of the coronavirus infection. The videos will be shown on the Культура.РФ website. A link to the broadcast will be posted on the official website of the Association of the Penza Oblast State Literary and Memorial Museums.

At the moment, preparations for the event are underway. On August 11, the Association of the Penza Oblast State Literary and Memorial Museums management paid a working visit to Narovchat, where the A. Kuprin Museum is located and where the Kuprin Literary Festival has been held annually since 1985.

It is assumed that this year only the solemn ceremony with just a few gusts will take place in the writer's homeland: the laying of flowers at the monument to A. Kuprin, the opening of the festival and the awarding of the "Garnet Bracelet" Kuprin creative competition winners.

Netizens can witness this event, and see an unusual tour of the A. Kuprin's House-museum which will have been existing for 40 years this year; go to Kuprin places, etc. The organisers are compiling an enormous cultural and educational programme.
