The days of French organ music in Penza

The concerts of French organ music were held in Penza from 19th to 22nd September. Famous French musicians were performing in “Penzaconcert” Hall – a maestro of improvisation Francis Vidil and a titular organist of the Cathedral of St. Nazarius in Sanary-sur-Mer Bris Montaneau.

On September 19th Francis Vidil gave a concert in the Organ Hall of the Philharmonic Hall. He is a French neoclassical musician, a professor of the Conservatory of Paris, a master of improvisation, one of few musicians in the world capable of delighting the audience with a virtuoso performance on an organ, a tube, a piano, and percussion instruments.

In Penza Vidil presented a program “Michel Legrand and great musical legends”.

The musical event finished on September 22nd with a performance of a titular organist of the Cathedral of St. Nazarius in Sanary-sur-Mer Bris Montaneau.
