The concerts of French organ music were held in Penza from 19th to 22nd September. Famous French musicians were performing in “Penzaconcert” Hall – a maestro of improvisation Francis Vidil and a titular organist of the Cathedral of St. Nazarius in Sanary-sur-Mer Bris Montaneau.
On September 19th Francis Vidil gave a concert in the Organ Hall of the Philharmonic Hall. He is a French neoclassical musician, a professor of the Conservatory of Paris, a master of improvisation, one of few musicians in the world capable of delighting the audience with a virtuoso performance on an organ, a tube, a piano, and percussion instruments.
In Penza Vidil presented a program “Michel Legrand and great musical legends”.
The musical event finished on September 22nd with a performance of a titular organist of the Cathedral of St. Nazarius in Sanary-sur-Mer Bris Montaneau.
