Belinsky Park

Belinsky park is a big family entertainment complex in the old city centre. It is located in the green area of the city. The first public park was opened here in 1821 and became one of the first parks of this type in Russia.
The landscape style of park design was used as the basis for building the garden in the midst of an oak grove. The design centred around the highest hill in Penza, so that visitors had the opportunity to enjoy the views over the open spaces, forests and the city below. Nowadays the park is a powerful magnet for children and their parents.
