‘Cuckoo’ Clock

The monument, known to each person in Penza, was opened in 1974 near the musical fountain in the city centre. The clock quickly became a favourite city attraction and a meeting place.
The ‘Cuckoo’ Clock is a tribute to the skills of watchmakers at a famous factory in Serdobsk. The monument prototype was a swiss cuckoo clock.
