‘The Globe’ Monument

‘The Globe’ monument installed at the busy crossroads of the city is one of the oldest and most favourite monuments. The steel globe can be seen from afar from four directions.
The monument symbolizes the friendship between people of all countries and nationalities. The idea belonged to the engineer and inventor V. Bobikov. 
The monument was installed in the Soviet period of Russia,and the word ‘USSR’ on its base is still preserved.
