‘Kind Angel of Peace’ Monument

The monument was installed in 2009, in the year of 70th anniversary of the city.
The programme ‘Kind Angel of Peace’ currently unites 23 cities of the world that have built this monument symbolizing peace, kindness and charity. The monument is a 10 m marble column with 3.5 m golden figure of an angel.
The angel is walking on the hemi-sphere and holding a dove above the head. The classical style of the composition, the visual balance and the sublime beuaty - all of these contribute to conveying the impression of peace and harmony.
