M.Yu. Lermontov monument

A fine monument to the famous Russian poet Mikhail Lermontov was created by the sculptor Ilya Gintsburg. It was opened in 1892 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the poet’s death, thanks to the efforts of the Lermontov society. The monument is a brozne bust at the four-sided granite plinth.
